How much did you save when buying the sample?

Im just trying to get a ballpark for how much cheaper I should be getting a sample dress. One store wanted to give it to me for like $150 off the retail price. Which I think is not good enough. How much didi you all save on your sample?

I bought mine at a Sample Sale event, for 75% off!! That may only be because it was a special event so they may have been running an additional special discount.
I would think that you'd get more than $150 off though! If that were the case I would have bought new.

How much is the dress normally? Unless it's a cheaper dress, $150 doesn't seem like enough.

I bought my sample dresd for 50% off. The store's sale had dresses anywhere from 30-50% off. I lucked out that my dress was at the top end of their discount.

I paid $99 for my sample dress. It was originally $650 and would have been that price if I wanted to order a brand new one. $150 seems like a sale that they would run normally or something that could sweeten the pot and seal a purchase. It's definitely not enough off if the dress retails for more than $450

If the store just got the dress in (as in, it is new for the season) it might make it more understandable why they only offered to give you $150 off. At that price you may as well buy it new!
