Tuxes timeline?

My FI is kinda clueless, his parents don't want to seem to help.  I'm not super sure myself.  If we're marrying the first weekend of April, when should he start looking for tuxes?  Or rather, when should he have them picked out by?  We're renting (not sure where from yet, but there are a lot of options around here), so I can't imagine it's near as long as a bridal gown, but I really don't know.

    I've heard 1 -2 months in advance for tuxes. It doesn't take very long.

    You only need a few months to get the tuxes in order, but also keep in mind your groomsmen.  I know 2 of my fiance's friends are amazing guys but aren't exactly on top of things when it comes to time lines etc.  So I'm going to give them some extra time!
