DIY table cards, card box

I am looking for a few DIY projects and I thought these could be fun.

Can any share how they made their table card and card box?

Instructions and where you got materials would be much appreciated.

Table Cards seem very easy, so maybe just details or pictures.

Card Box instructions and where you purchased materials would be helpful (and about how much you spent).

Thanks in advance! Wedding is not until October but I am trying to plan ahead on some of the DIY projects.

Also, it was about $30 when all was said and done, but I used the paints on other projects (Like our I DO letters)

Here's the pic:

I bought the boxes from Jo Ann's (crepe paper boxes), used a box cutter to cut the top hole and to cut a hole in the bottom of the top box and the top of the bottom box, painted with acrylic paint, glued the pearls on the top of the bottom box, glued the boxes together, and glued on the "CARDS".

My dad is making my card box - get to see it next weekend when they are in town. It is oak and done in a arts and crafts style. Will be about 14"x18"x8" - will be using it in our living room to store remotes and other do-dads after the wedding. Will post a pic in a week or so.
