best spot for fall wedding in twin cities?

Hello,

We are new to the twin cities and would like to do a fall wedding outdoors (october). we have a back up location (in case of bad weather), but are interested in finding an outdoor spot which is natural (a parklike spot) and a good spot to see the fall colors. The reception will be in St. Paul.

    Oh - there are so many places!! My original idea for a place was Harriett Island - but if it's a garden wedding you're looing for, this website has a few good suggestions for the St. Paul/Minneapolis/Bloomington area: http://www.mnweddingminister.com/sites/gardens.html. The City of Eagan has a good community center too - there all within reasonable driving distances from each other. Good luck and welcome to the twin cities - you'll love it here!
