Battelle Darby Creek wedding?

Has anyone gotten married or attended a wed/recep at battelle darby creek park? The honey only wants to spend a little over 2k for wedding and reception together and I'm trying to figure out a nice place for a garden evening wedding. Our date is August 17, 2012 and I think he only wants to go there for the buffalo :)

    I believe they are VERY expensive there....

    Try the Clintonville Women's Club which is right next door to the park of roses. They also have an outdoor gazebo you could get married under.

    I wonder if the pp is thinking of the park or The Darby House?  I can't imagine the park being very expensive :)  Are you wanting to have your reception at the park or just the ceremony?

    I'm getting married there on Sunday - outdoor ceremony and a reception inside the lodge. It is very inexpensive with any caterer, but that also means it's very DIY. Also, no alcohol is permitted. I'll try to answer any questions, but might be a little absent as the wedding is fast approaching.

    I just looked at this venue yesterday and it is very inexpensive. The lodge is under $200 and they do not require a security deposit, you must pay in full within 30 days of reserving the lodge. They have reservable shelter houses as well.

    I would most likely have both the ceremony and recption there if we choose it.

    They have really GREAT  prices, check it out because that is where I am getting married June 15, 2012!!!! We got Great deals, better than everywhere else we checked!!!
