My mother always says the key to a great party is the music. Although parts of my wedding night were a white-dress-euphoric-colored blur, I can distinctly remember parts of the night when I was belting out the lyrics to the song and looking at the sea of smiling, grinning, singing faces that surrounded myself and my husband. I have a wonderful family, but as much as I believe they came with their dancing shoes ready, DJ Mike Edwards and All Star Entertainment delivered an atmosphere that kept everyone on the dance floor long after the shoes were kicked off and barefoot dancing reigned. I have had many people tell me they loved the “decade dance” and will always remember Mike announcing the 90s and my friend shrieking “OH MY GOD PLEASE PLAY BRITTANY!!” (it wasn’t Brittany, but still, the memory will always remain!!). I wholeheartedly recommend All Star to any future brides! So easy to work with, very friendly, and a set of worksheets that helps to set everything down on paper in a manner that allowed me to sleep each and every night leading up to my big day!
I also want to make special mention of Andrea Duvall, the lighting specialist who worked our wedding via All Star Entertainment. Although the room we booked for our wedding and the flowers we brought in were gorgeous, as I remember the night and look though the pictures I have to say the fiery oranges, romantic blues and purples that quietly infused the space transported the space beyond “decoration” and allowed everyone to feel what I was feeling. Of all the decorations, I think it was the lighting that made the largest impact. All of the guests were floored, and several of them delighted in telling me how Andrea showed them the technology and illustrated how the lighting changes in harmony with the songs charged the room with energy and festive mood.
