FI's cousin

FI has a cousin, who is about 16 or 17 maybe.  FI told me he was messaging him on FB the other day, and asked if we needed him to bring anything food-wise for the wedding and asking what he should wear.   LOL FI told him we had all the food under control and to just dress "spiffy" for the occassion.  For some reason I thought this was hillarious and cute at the same time.

    That is really cute... how sweet of him to have thought to ask! He must realize what all goes into a wedding.. thought I don't think a lot of people do!

    I would go into a bit more detail with him on what to wear though. If he thought the wedding was potluck, he may be very unsure of the appropriate attire. "Spiffy" could be taken a lot of different ways by a sixteen year old! (I'm thinking of my younger brother here...he is eighteen and if i told him to dress spiffy, he would come out in shorts and a polo shirt and way too much cologne lol)

    <div>LOL I know... I think he was just trying to strike up conversation.  There is about 14 to 15 years difference in age between them and FI and his brother are his only male cousins so he looks up to them.  </div>
