tuxedos

We are starting the search for tuxedos.  I have heard very negative things about men's wearhouse.  However, I need a place that an out of town groomsman can go to.  Have any of you had any luck with JoS. A. Bank?  They have a pretty good promotion...free tux for groom, half off ring bearer, and $20 off groomsman.  Thanks!

We are using Jos. A Bank, and it seems to be working out okay so far!

I posted this question awhile back and got mixed reviews.  It seemed like as long as all your groomsmen had availability to pick up the tux 2 days before the wedding Men's Warehouse would be able to fix and problems with the tuxes.  My thought was, they shouldn't have any problems that's the reason you get sized before they are ordered.  I loved that Men's Warehouse we could get my fiance a free suit and his tux free (a promo from awhile back that we put a $10 deposit or something not sure if they are still doing this) and so I'm really torn on whether to go with MW or Jos A Banks.  I think we may still talk to Men's Warehouse, but if I don't feel comfortable before we order I have no problem with someone else.

We used the MW at Tuttle Mall and they were awesome. And we were even out of state even though all the GM were in Columbus.

We used OP Gallo, which is only in Columbus.  However, we had several groomsmen that were out of town.  They just had to go to a store local to them and get measured and then send in the measurements.  It all worked fine.  Plus, I sort of had a freak out the week before the wedding and changed a few of our choices, and they were really nice about it.  I was quite impressed with how easily they dealt with my bridezilla change of heart.  ha!

We got my husband's  and son's tuxes for DD's wedding at MW at Tuttle.  After the wedding I took DH's, son's and new SIL's tuxes all back. SIL had picked his up at Easton but they allowed me to take them back. Typically they want them back on Sunday, they let me wait and bring them back on Monday.

Service was quick.  There was a problem with my husband's shirt, we picked it up on Wednesday. By Thursday morning they had a new shirt ready for him.

We'll be going back in about to MW at Tuttle in about a month to order DH's tux for DS's April wedding.

Also they were running a special at the time, rent 5 tuxes and the groom can either get his tux free or a free suit.  They had 11 groomsmen and 2 ushers so DSIL got his tux free and a new suit.  I don't think they are still running that special though.

We used MW at Lennox and had a great experience.  None of the groomsmen or fathers had any issues either (that I know of).
And the free suite is pretty amazing.  Scot looked fantastic for the rehersal dinner!

The only minor frustration I had was when we were setting up colors/design of the vests and ties.  I wanted the guys in different colors of purple (6 GMs, 3 colors) and the girl I was talking to just didn't 'get it'.  She kept only talking about picking one color.  I just said forget it, I'll deal with it later and picked one for her to write down.  About a month before the wedding, I went in and sat down with another girl who actually listened to me and my slightly out-of-the-ordinary request and we got the color situation worked out perfectly, and each of the guys showed up in the right color :)

We went to MW at Polaris today to put deposit down. We get $40 off each of our tuxes and we have 10 guys getting one plus FI gets a $400 voucher for a suit.
    Soon to be MRS!
