unique venues

Hello All...
Ive been searching for unconventional, unique reception/ceremony venues in the Baltimore area.  I have the AVAM in mind, but was wondering if anyone knew of other interesting spaces to accommodate our style.  Were planning on a retro/rockabilly feel for the day and just wondering if there are any tips or ideas floating out there....Thanks in advance!

    My friend got married at the Baltimore Museum of Industry.  It was amazing.  I really enjoyed the atmosphere.

    I was going to suggest the Museum of Industry too.  It's different but not TOO far out there. 

    What else......
    -An former knottie got married at her high school.  That's where she and DH met - I thought that was rather different.  Quirky and fun.
    -American VIsionary Art Museum
    -The Cloisters - a former knottie had her wedding there too.  The pictures were beautiful
    -The Mansion House at the Baltimore Zoo
    -The Warehouse at Camden Yards

    Both the aquarium and the science center do events, but I'm not sure they really fit with your theme.

    I think the zoo is a cool idea. Also- not so quirky but still cool and trendy would be a local winery. I would totally do it if I was planning a fall wedding, but I think it's a bit much for my July plans.

    We are having our wedding and reception at the Sports Legends Museum next to Camden Yards, and we're doing a vintage feel (you can see pics in my bio), but not sure if you could work in the Rockabilly or not.

    I'm going to second BMI though, that would be great for Rockabilly
