Please Share your Wording for Invitations

I have a few ideas, but I am not sure how it sounds. I want to include Holy Matrimony and Nuptial Mass. We are "hosting", but I think we will start the invitation with "the honour of your presence is requested".

It's not the wording you're looking for, but it might help.

    Good luck!

"JLP and PAM request the honour of your presence at their marriage in the sacrament of holy matrimony and the celebration of the nuptial mass"

    Interesting!

I'm Catholic as is most of my family and I've never seen an inviatiation that specified a mass or anything other than:

"request the honour of your presence

at the marriage of their daughter"

Guess it's your choice on wording.

i was always told that if you had the Mass it was supposed to be mentioned, both for its importance, but also to alert guests that Mass would be celebrated.  i've only seen one or two invites in my day that did not mention the Mass and then had the Mass.
