Venues

Does anyone know  of a venue that includes room rental in with the cost for the menu per person?  I am looking for a place close to Cincinnati Ohio.  I need to have separate rooms for the ceremony and reception. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

If you post this on your local board...over to the left. You might have better luck!

Not sure if The Madison includes room rental or a place called The Elements.

Receptions is a great deal.  Their packages are from $28 to $40/pp all-inclusive (yes, that includes rental!! :) )

I second Receptions.  Brother and SIL had their reception there.  The food was good and the staff was fantastic.

Vinoklet Winery in Colerain has outdoor wedding chapel by the lake, and an indoor reception area for $45 per person with food (and I think drinks like beer/wine/pop). It was absolutely beautiful when I toured, but was just too far a drive for some of my family, so I didn't choose it.

Sometimes I still think I should have picked it ;)

You should check out the Embassy Suites in Covington, KY. I think they don't charge a room rate and you can have the ceremony & reception there. The City View Room is absolutely stunning - especially at night!

Madison basically has a flat rate depending on the room (I think). All of their packages include the room rental, all linens, beer, wine , and champagne toast for all guests, a buffet dinner...and some other things.

If you want anything in addtion, such as liquor or a sit-down dinner, it will cost extra.

Another place you could look at is The Manor House in Mason. They basically set a room minimum that you must spend and you reach that through your food and beverage purchases. They also have gorgeous ceremony locations.
