grlandherdog - Jazz quartet

I don't know if you're still looking but I managed to dig up the name of a jazz trio leader that played during the cocktail hour at a wedding I attended a while back. They were great!

Thank you!!!  I hadn't managed to find one, but it's since it's been moved to my "want list"  - as opposed to my "need list" I'll have to keep my fingers crossed!

We have Hazel Walker booked, she has a web site, I have seen her a few times and she is fantastic and well priced.
Good luck at moving your jazz quartet from your want list to your need list :)

We just got married a few weeks ago and had The Diplomats play at our ceremony & reception.

We got a Jazz duo (bass and keyboard) and they were incredible.  We wanted jazz music that was not going to be intrusive but that would be a relaxed, loungy vibe (we had a lunch reception).  They were perfect and Andrew Taylor (the bassist) was very professional.  They were also reasonably priced IMO -- $500 for 5.5 hours (or something close to that).  Hope that helps!
