"Distance is not for the fearful its for the bold; it's for those who are willing to spend a lot of time apart in exchange for a little time with the one they love. It's for those who know a good thing when they see it; even if they don't see it enough"
This is by far my favorite quote, seeing as though my relationship is mostly long distance and will be for the next 16 years.

Confession: I stole this quote from you a while ago LOL
Yea, I remember quoting this before for a friend of yours I think? No exaggeration, as long as he is in the military, he is more than likely going to be gone for periods of time. He is in the CG so he will be on boats that are gone for a month or more at a time. Every now and again he will get on a land unit which is at now, that's not so bad. There aren't many of those though because he is a cook. Which are mostly boat based.
Don't remember when I saw you post it... but it's a good one that is now on my FB lol
Geez! I guess all I can say to that is 'Thank you' to him for all that he and the rest of our men and women are doing for this country!! and 'Thank you" to you and all the other families who stand behind them...

I might be stealing this one too for many reasons. BF is AD Army, but moving to the NG after next fall. Still a chance for deployment. He's also thinking about changing to night shift in the meantime so he can take more classes during the day. So even though we live together, i'll only see him during the week in the morning while he sleeps and I'm getting ready for work. At least we have weekends. It'll be better for our future (him finishing his degree sooner) so it's kinda one of those suckie adult choices.
"Don't make him a priority when you are only an option" This is what I kept in mind when dating. That's when I knew BF was a keeper. Even with Army and duty, he made time for me, tries to make me a priority as much as he can.
I got a fortune cookie once that said "Don't demand a man's soul when you already have his heart..." I kept it and put it with a framed picture of BF & I... Whenever I start to feel like I'm expecting too much from him I think of the quote...
"Let us love, not in word or speech, but in truth and action." -John 3:18
"This above all, to thine own self be true." -Hamlet I.iii
And, not to toot my own horn, but I like the quote I randomly used last week. It was something along the lines of:: "If God intended women to settle on men, he wouldn't have invented the vibrator."

Here are some of my favorite quotes, pulled from my FB page...

HAHA. Thanks there is now mountain dew everywhere.
These are mine -- all from movies. "Just a dog? Porthos dreams of being a bear, and you want to shatter those dreams by saying he's just a dog? What a horrible candle-snuffing word. "Things that are easily acquired, obtained, or maintained, without any effort or sacrifice lack value."
"Four things that can never be recovered: The stone after it's thrown, the word after it's spoken, the occasion after it's missed, and the time after it's gone."
