Program question

I made my own programs off a friends example. On the back, we included a thank you note to our guests. We signed it with our first names and our new last name together. Is that a no no to do? Should we sign it with just our first names?

I personally would have just done the first names, only cuz *technically* your name change doesn't happen until after you complete the paperwork after the honeymoon, but as far as I know, there aren't really any etiquette rules against it. Also be careful, cuz that might alienate the maiden name family...

I don't think you should really worry about it though. Unless somebody seems offended by it.

We're doing a thank you note in the program and we're just signing it with our first names.

I would put first names, because as PPs mentioned, your new last name is not in effect until AFTER the ceremony...

Oh, I hadn't thought about this. I made my own programs and under the thank you signed it with a generic, "Love, The Newlyweds".

We just used our first names. I mean people already know who we are and everything.

I'd use first names, but if you've already printed everything I'd just let it go.

If I were doing this I would put first names, but I don't think it's offensive at all. Don't worry about it if they're already printed!
