Holy 4 freakin months!

(Thats 4 months and 1 week to you Miss Monica!)

Disclaimer: This post may ramble and will be filled with excitement, nerves, probably some ranting, and some organizing of my brain aka my to do list!

Ok, so I am at 4 months and I have officially hit full blown panic mode! Im so excited to be getting married and I full believe that nothing changes once you do get married, so that isn't so much where my nerves are coming from. Of course we all know at some point you get a little nervous about signing those papers, but not to the point of anxiety attack! I'm in the process of setting up appointments with our pastor for our 6 week counseling session in hopes that he can help calm me down a little bit...but again, most of my nerves are coming from the whole planning process.

This past weekend my neighbors were over at our house and Krista says to me "I am sooo excited for your wedding! Its gunna be like, the party of the year! Im gunna bring a hot date *to which her 23 yr old son gave me a wtf look* and we're gunna party hard!" Thats where my nerves are at! I dont plan on giving her a date b/c shes single, no b/f, and her son is a very good friend of Joshs and Im not about to make him uncomfortable. But "party of the year"? Great. Fabulous expectations! I love to party, but Im so nervous about it not being fun and people being bored. I dont know why. I really think Im overthinging everything, but I cant make it stop!

BUT! Ive decided I have a few more DIY projects and although it should stress me more, its actually making me feel better b/c Im not finding anything I like in my $$ range, so why not make it?! Im gunna make my RB pillow, FG basket, and Table Numbers. Woo!

    Congrats on 4 months!

I'm sure your wedding will be fun, try not to worry!  But I know what you mean, mine's still far off and I'm worried about that too.

I just saw an article in the Feb Brides mag about making a ring bearer pillow for $15.  Did you see it?

    Bridgett-
A... WOOOOSSAAAAA.  Chill out girl!  Grab a glass of wine and just relax.  It's going to be an awesome party... probably the party of the year for that particular guest.  heehee.  But Don't put any crazy expectations on yourself....
    B.  Kevin can give instructions on an RB pillow, lol.  Or I'm sure he would have no problem making one for you if you need him to.  He is always bored while I am at school.  lol
    C.  I have an awesome basket that could be used for an FG if you want it.

No, I actually saw someone on the DIY board who did it. And I love it. Now I can tie my 2 colors in using the two ribbons Ill be using as parts of the centerpieces. Same with the FG basket. My mom has a ton of little wood baskets, so Ill paint them white and tie the colored ribbons in somehow.

Im ready to go out tonight and start this

There you go!!!  DIY (although it can be stressfull) can be a great stress reliever.  You will feel a sense of accomplishment when you complete it... and I think you could use that right about now.  It might give you a better sence fo control... even if it is only one or two projects.
    You go girl!

PS- the 4 months and 1 week comment was unnecessary.  Tongue out

And, for the record, I hear frosty tall ones help with stress relief, also.

Haha thanks! I felt so much better just sitting here thinking about what I want to do for my DIY. Im waiting on Joshs mom for pictures of him throughout the ages and Ill make those your table numbers

But Ive really never seen too many so if she cant get any, then Ill make it pictures throughout our relationship type deal cuz I have a million of those. Im really super excited. And in dire need of a freakin beer. Just a few more hours.

Its funny cuz this anxiety is new. I have to date and initial everything I do so I started writing todays date and BAM anxiety. Its calming down a bit tho. I stressed to Josh and my mom and sister how much i need their help right now. Ill be ok :)

If it makes you feel any better I totally freaked at 4 months too LOL Although now I'm under 50 days so I got my own special sort of stress going on right now.

Your wedding is going to be an awesome party! I love the photo table numbers, so unique.

I would love to have a frosty beverage but I'm at work for another 8hrs, have one for me?
