1. If you had your dream job, what would it be? I'd be doing exactly what I'm doing now-only in Pittsburgh.

i've only worked with macs in college, so i guess pcs because i'm more familiar with them, although i hear macs are nearly impervious to viruses.

i like the look of hardwood, but they can hurt your feet if you go barefoot (i know that's silly but it matters! lol)

1. If you had your dream job, what would it be? Translator for some high-profile organization, like the UN.

2. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be? I'd love to live out of the country, but I'd miss my friends and family too much. Honestly, I think we're living in the perfect area for us.

4. What is your pet peeve? This is prob. not a good day to ask this, as the list could go on and on: tourists who stand on the left side of the escalator, people who think they have somewhere more important to go than you do, people who step on the backs of my shoes and mess them up (this happens a decent amt. in the metro), people with their headphones up too loud... I'd better stop for now, lol.

5. What is your favorite thing about summer? I can't pick just one... summer clothes, cooking with fresh veggies and herbs, and going on vacation.

6. iPhone or Blackberry? No clue- I've never had either, and really don't know much about them.

7. Cats or dogs? I love them equally, though I started out as more of a dog person. Then met DH's parents' cats and fell in love. :-)

8. What is your least favorite thing about wedding planning? Dealing with the family drama I had going on.

9. Did you or are you changing your last name? Yes, I changed it but I kept my maiden name to use as a second last name. People don't get that I have 2 middle names!

1. If you had your dream job, what would it be? I wouldn't mind a gig like Anthony Bourdain's (host of No Reservations) - he gets to travel the world, eat, and drink. Sounds good to me!

2. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be? I can't pick one place, but I will say somewhere within driving distance of both families. It's so hard to try and see everyone more than 1-2 times a year.

4. What is your pet peeve? Recently, it's been people who drive in pouring rain without their lights on. They're just asking for an accident.

SOOOO many of our wedding guests- many of them DH's family members- wrote out our checks to "Mr. and Mrs. Hisfirstname Hislastname" even knowing my decision not to change my name. It actually has been a huge pain in the butt to try to cash them! They are MUCH more traditional than me!

Hmmm... good to know that it has been a pain, hopefully we can try to avoid that.

My fi's aunt actually said when I said I wasn't going to change my name: "Well, what's the point of even getting married???" I was sooo appalled, my fi held me back!

Wha?! That's crazy.

When I first went in to deposit our checks (in Wexford), the lady told me we would have to open a joint account using Myfirstname Hislastname. I said- "you want me to open an account with a fake name? Isn't that illegal?" Um, yes. She was wrong of course, but still such a pain!
