  I can't believe how close we are!! 
  
    We still need to finish our songs list, order a few small things and that is it!  FI's bachelor party is next weekend and mine the weekend after that.  So excited!!

  Buy cups for alcohol
  Book hotel for the night of
  Hair trial/Make up appt.
  Send out my RD invitations
  Finish my programs
  Get my E-Pic matted with my frame
  Finish out the music lists
  Fix my boquet or order a real one (not sure yet)
  Attend pre-parties (one next weekend, one the following!)
  Marriage lisence
  Vendor final appts.

  Have final dress fitting (probably 2 more)
  Have hair trial
  Create seating arrangement
  Make escort cards & display board
  Get pens for the sign in book (waiting to see what it looks like before I do this)
  Check on FG dress to see if we want a sash
  Buy parent's gifts
  Buy cards to write thank you's to the WP and parents
  Buy a boatload of Hershey's kisses
  Buy white and red wine for the ceremony
  Put together a "must take" list for the photographer
  Buy paper/bags and wrap WP gifts
  Get my hair accessories
  Get my reception shoes (flip flops!)
  Get marriage license
  
  Wow. I better get busy....

  I am freaking out. We have gotten a lot done though. We need to go get our marriage license. I am excited but im also freaking out.

  I am so ready to be married!  We still need to-
  Finalize our ceremony order (doing that on Sunday with the preacher), 
  Put together our list for the photographer,
  Make tags for our favors,
  Buy alcohol for the reception,
  Get the marriage license!

  Oh my gosh, I woke up this morning thinking WOW -- in exactly a month I will be waking up to my wedding day. So exciting, but overwhelming.

  
  

  Things left to do:

  2 more dress fittings

  Meeting with the caterer to finalize things

  Bridal shower and bachelorette (both on the 18th)

  Programs

  Finish carving names into our placecards (wooden discs we're hanging on trees instead of namecards)

  Make book stack centerpieces (I have half the books I'll need so many more trips to the used bookstore and Friends of the Library)

  Decide on table seating

  Finalize playlist

  Finish up ceremony

  Make list of must-have photos for our friend, who's taking our pictures

  Buy our alternative guestbook (thumbprint tree), and get pens to sign frame around the tree

  Engrave mom's and brother's gift (brother is walking me down the aisle)

  Start my Thank Yous (no gifts yet but shower is this Saturday)

  Buy wine for the letter box

  Buy out-of-towner gift bags and fill them

  Pick up custom-ordered wine for out-of-towner gift bags

  Wrap BM and flower girl gifts

  Get marriage license

  Something else big that I'm sure I've forgotten...
  
  

  Oh dear god, I'm out of breath just writing this.

  
  

  I'm SO excited though -- this wedding is all I think about and it'll just be so weird to NOT have this on my plate afterwards. Even though it's stressful, I do enjoy this bride thing. ;-) I'm not usually one to be or enjoy being the center of attention, so I think on some level I'm enjoying being on the other side of the social spectrum for a change. We're done with kids (I have two from a prior relationship and we're happy keeping it at two, since the youngest is almost 10), so this is pretty much it as far as huge celebratory "new beginnings" until, I don't know, we move or retire...lol! Life will settle down, but wow, what a ride this has been leading up to the big day (7 years in the making). I can't wait!

  I'm so so so excited for the day to get here, and not so much on the days in between lol.
