Field Biologist for an environmental consulting firm. However, the work is minimal now...actively looking elsewhere :-/
8. What is your dream job?
I want to have a job involving conservation biology. i.e.. Work for a company based on conservation and awareness of the environment.
9. How did you and your fiance' meet?
We met on a bus to a football game in college. There was only one seat left on the bus when Patrick boarded, and it was next to me. Within 30 minutes of the drive he asked if he could use my lap as a pillow, put a sweatshirt down and went to sleep... I thought he was so goofy, but I couldn't stop thinking about him. I had a boyfriend at the time, but that relationship was terrible and pretty much over. I broke up with him in October, and started talking to Patrick basically the next day. We were official in Feb. 
10. When did you get engaged, and how did he do it??
02/05/11. We got engaged in Melbourne, Fl on the patio of his parent's beach front condo. Our anniversary is 2/2 and the weekend following Patrick made plans for us to get away and go there alone. Friday night we stayed out late and so Saturday, after walking on the beach and shopping all day we took a nap at 3, and ended up sleeping until 6. Patrick woke us up in a panic! He kept saying "get up, get up, we have to go to dinner". I just thought it was really odd he was so hungry. (I found out later he had wanted to propose on the beach, but it was too dark). After I was ready, he called me onto the patio and was saying how beautiful the beach was with the full moon. He got down on one knee and was saying that I was his best friend and I kept saying "are you serious, are you serious??!" Then he said "OH- I almost forgot, will you marry me??" HAHA. It was so cute, and personal and totally us. 30 minutes later (he allotted a time window for me to call people LOL), a cab showed up to take us to a dinner reservation he made at the Charthouse with personalized menus saying "Thank God she said YES."

Aqua and light lime green.
14. Where are you honeymooning?
Sandals La Toc, St. Lucia ...
15. Favorite wedding vendor so far?
JMorgan flowers. I am obsessed with our floral mock up.
16. Biggest wedding splurge?
The yacht itself and transportation. We have a welcome party Friday night, with a bus for guests, and we have trolleys for day of.
17. What is something you wish you could have at the wedding but don't?
My grandparents on my Dad's side. But they never travel anywhere.

Vanessa (VanLu)... I met her recently and her wedding sounds like it is just going to be so FUN!

22. Favorite wedding dress designer?
I'm biased b/c my dress is Maggie Sottero and her dresses are beautifully made and reasonably priced. If money were not an issue I'd die for Jim Hjelm.
23. Any advice you can give to other Knotties whose big day is coming up?
Just stay calm. There will always be someone willing to help, you just have to ask.
24. Is there anything you wish you could change about your wedding?
Only that more people could come, but NOTHING about the wedding itself, I love it
25. Tell us your Knottie name and how you came up with it Plswitze P for Paige, L for my middle name Lauren... and then Switze is the first part of my last name. It was an automatic email address I was given for college, and I use it for everything b/c it's easy to remember.
26. Tell us about yourself!
I love the beach and being outdoors. Marine Biology is absolutely my passion, just wish I could find a better job right now. I have over 1000 scuba dives , I LOVE to travel and have been to Australia, Mexico, Jamaica, St. Thomas, St. John, St. Croix, Italy and Ireland. (The first 6 places were for work/school). I 100% believe in astrological signs only because I fit into LEO so well, it's scary. Oh- and I consider myself the luckiest girl in the world for meeting Patrick. There is no one on the planet who could handle me better. LOL
