outside in February

We are planning an outdoor ceremony in February, 2012 at 5:00pm.  I am concerned that the weather will be too cold to have the ceremony in the park the way we planned.  We all know how unpredictable the weather is here in Houston but would you continue as planned and change things at the last minute if necessary or would you change it now - before the invitations go out?  Please keep in mind that my Fiance is really set on the park venue.  TIA

I am also getting married in Feb. at night and had the option of outside at my venue.  I chose not to becase I didn't want to stress BUT neither one of us had our hearts set on it. I would chance it but have a back up plan in case.  Usually the week before you will know what to expect for the weather so just go for it if that's what yall want!

I got married Feb. 20th of last year. The weather on the day of our wedding was a high of 76 and a low of 60. Texas weather IS unpredictable, but if you want the outdoor, shoot for the outdoor just make sure you have a back up plan.
And now we are as one

I think you should keep it for outdoors if thats what your really want just have a back up plan. Especially if its late February. Come on this is Houston,Texas! Weather is so weird. I wouldn't worry to much about the cold just if it rains. I rather be a bit cold then sweating my butt off. Also see about changing the time of the wedding maybe midafternnon maybe a bit better.     Laughing

its houston. So weather here is a coin flip. Last yr was nice. the yr before it was freezing. So who knows? I'd say yes, and just have a backup plan.
