Alright I'll start the thread.

Have you ever been caught in "the act." By whom? Or have you ever caught someone else in the act?

Yep by FMIL. It was when I was seeing FI in the hospital. He was discharged but we were staying on base. She didn't knock to our room and left quickly. Later she texted him asking if he was ok lol

Never actually caught in the act, thank goodness. A few close calls though. On second thought though, (major TMI), we actually woke our daughter up in the middle of the night this weekend.... whooops.... good thing she's only 3.5! She sleepily whined at me, telling me I woke her up "talking to daddy".. hahahaha. Yes, I was "talking to daddy" at 3 in the morning.. not my classiest of moments

FMIL here too. We thought we were alone in the house. We were in his room, but weren't quiet. When we heard the vacuum on the tile floor in the hallway, we knew she was letting us know that she heard us. She never vacuums tile. She never said anything about it though.

Sort of... My BM was coming to pick me up for our Trip to Vegas.
She arrived early.. FI and I were in the middle of the act. I had to run to the door and tell her I wasn't ready... I needed 30 min.. ha!

Yep! Fmil has when we lived with them.. and one of the GM's has walked in and sat down on the bed. Hilarious now. Morifiyng at the time.

I haven't been, but I've been in sort of the opposite situation. We were staying at a friend's parents' house on the lake and there were other parents and friends there. They had a huge room with multiple beds where everyone could sleep. FI and I went to bed earlier and woke up to a big fight b/c one friends mom was giving the other a BJ in the room with all of us! It was insane.

I've been caught in the act of helping myself out. In college, I thought my roommate was in class (it had gotten cancelled) and she walked right in. Not my proudest moment.

Oh god I've been caught in everything but *the* act so many times. My high school boyfriend's parents always went to bed around 9pm but he and I would be on the recliner in the living room, under a blanket and his father used to wake up and walk to the kitchen. Thank god he never asked for a hand check.

The most mortifying however was in high school, I went to a Catholic school and my boyfriend and I went to see the school's production of The Sound of Music. At intermission we snuck out to the staircases and we were making out and my anatomy teacher walked by.

Once, FI's youngest son walked in on us. Luckily, when his kids were over, we always used to have the blankets over us. Now, they are old enough to know not to open our bedroom door.

Another time, my niece/MOH almost walked in on us. We were in the livingroom and "getting ready" to do it when she came walking in the house. FI was the only one with clothes off so he went running for the bedroom. She now knows that if it's not FI's kids weekend, be sure to knock before coming in.

I've heard my mom doing it a few times. One time I was a teenager hanging out on the front porch with a group of my friends. We started to hear her so we had to move to the back porch and were all in total disguist.
More recently, FI and I heard her so we had to turn our tv up louder in the bedroom. She lives downstairs from us and her room is right under ours. I teased her about it the next day. I'm actually surprised she hasn't heard us. And if she has, she hasn't mentioned it.

Not exactly. When FI and I first started dating, we weren't having intercourse yet but we were certainly fooling around. He'd said goodbye to one of our friends already, and then stopped in to say goodbye to me, and we messed around a bit. We were interrupted when said friend knocked on my door to ask if I could come visit her to chat when she got finished with her rounds (we were RAs).

We didn't tell her until the next summer, when the same thing happened. I'd moved in with FI and we had our own house. We were waiting for her and her BF to show up for the weekend, and decided to screw around in the meantime because we had what we thought was 90 minutes until they showed up. Turned out to be closer to 20. They didn't walk in, but we couldn't just leave them on the doorstep....we told them the full story, and then told her what great timing she apparently has, hahaha.

We were caught after the act. It was when FI still lived at home with his parents and we were in his bedroom. We were laying in bed and I only had the covers up to my belly. FFIL knocked on the door so I pulled up the covers and rolled over to cover myself but ended up uncovering FI's butt. Oops

Yes, my FI sometimes gets home late since he travels so much and the kids were already in bed. I knew he would be home around 10 so I put a movie on in the living room and when he came in he layed next to me. we hadn't seen each other in almost 2 wks so we were anxious. We started messing around when my middle son got up to go to the bathroom. I grabbed the couch pillow and threw it on FI. Fortunately I think my son was so groggy that he just went into the bathroom and never noticed. We stay in the room now unless the kids are gone.

By my brother, but it's not really fair because he lives with us right now....

ETA: And he's never actually caught us...it's just been super close and we've awkwardly run to our bedroom with clothes strewn around the living room.

FI and I weren't ever caught in the act, but I was caught giving a BJ to my high school boyfriend once. We were obviously way too hormonal and thought it was perfectly acceptable to do this in my parent's enclosed porch - which has a GLASS door into my parent's living room, covered by a lace curtain. My mother came to ask me to stir the sauce while she went upstairs to do something, and walked right in on it. Later she asked me if I was doing anything that I didn't want to be doing. It was super awkward and I just said no and started talking about the sauce.
