Do you attend church? How often?Nope, never. Mom used to force me so as soon as I moved to NYC, I booted that tradition out the window. Did you give up anything for Lent?Nope, because I am not catholic and I don't want to give up anything...I suck. What's for dinner tonight?I think we're going out because one of DH's best friends is staying with us. We went to a BBQ place last night.....it was adorable seeing DH and his friend play video games together....
Do you attend church? How often? Not very often. I need to get better about it. When DH was out of work last year we both went more often. Did you give up anything for Lent? No. Ever since I graduated from Catholic school I never know when Lent starts. What's for dinner tonight? Thai food w/ some friends.

Do you attend church? How often? No. I grew up pretty active in the church (more for the social life than anything else) but don't actually believe in god, so I stopped going once I hit college.
Did you give up anything for Lent? No.
What's for dinner tonight? Something yummy - we just picked my dad and his fiancée up from the airport (!!! excited to see them and excited that there here for our WEDDING), so we'll go out somewhere fun tonight depending on what they're up for.
Not regularly anymore. We go to Mass on holidays with my mom and step dad to not piss them off. I would like to start going regularly again, probably to a Unitarian church, but FI is not into that. He doesn't begrudge my faith, he just doesn't share it.
Did you give up anything for Lent?
Tried to give up sugar, but it didn't last. I have cut back a lot, though.

Brooke, it starts the day after Mardi Gras. That's always marked on my calendar ;)

Next week, March 6. But as of today we're into single digits, and the first international guests (my dad) have arrived! MOH gets here Sunday!
Do you attend church? How often? I haven't gone in forever ... I keep saying that I want to start going, but I'm lazy
Did you give up anything for Lent? I actually gave up Knotting at work (And it's been hard!). I'm only on right now because we had a snow day.
What's for dinner tonight? Since we're most likely going to be snowed in tonight, it's probably going to be frozen pizza or pizza rolls ... that's kind of "our thing" for snow.

So that's where you've been! I'd forgotten about this and just thought you were so busy with newlywed bliss that you'd forgotten all about us :)
Nope, I still love you guys, I'm just making an attempt at being a "good Catholic".
Honestly, it's been really hard, I've been so addicted to TK ... it wasn't affecting my performance at work, but honestly, it also wasn't the "best" use of my time, lol.

Meg, I remember you saying that you gave up knotting at work for lent and I was really weirded out when I saw you posting on here this morning. It is snowing here too.
My office is actually pretty awesome about closing for bad weather. It's not one of those places where they say "Ok, the weather is supposed to suck, so everybody come in, and then when it gets really bad, we're going to close early and make you drive home in the even worse weather". Which, they're pretty awesome in general about needing time off for things and whatnot ... so I really have been feeling like a jerk not giving 110% at work lately.

Do you attend church? How often? Nope, I'm a filthy heathen.
Did you give up anything for Lent? See above.
What's for dinner tonight? It's FI's day off, so I'm hoping he whips up some deliciousness. Tomorrow is our date night, and I have selected Fuji Grill since we splurged on a nice steakhouse last week. I'm really looking forward to my usual eel and spicy tuna bowl.

What's for dinner tonight? Not sure yet for tonight, but last night FI made Thai peanut chicken with asparagus and brown rice, it was delicious and healthy! Yum!
Do you attend church? How often? Yep, I go every weekend. I also teach a faith formation class for 5th graders and one for special needs children with my fiance.
Did you give up anything for Lent? I am trying my best to not eat out. At all. And to cut back on snacking and food that isn't so great for me...I could go for a doughnut right about now.
What's for dinner tonight? Cranberry and pear chutney, chicken breast, rice and probably carrots. Yum yum!
