Caramel Apple Favors??

Hey ladies... I'm planning on doing caramel apples for our Oct 2011 wedding, I found a great deal at Daffys.com, but I was wondering if anyone knew of any local orchards in the Hudson Valley that might do caramel apples at a reasonable price??? Much rather do local than offline. Homemade is still a possiblity but looking at all my options! Thanks!

Hi! I usually post on the NJ board, but saw ur post. I just had my shower last weekend and my mom had candy apple favors from http://www.candy-apple-shoppe.com/ its right outside Warwick, NY (in Vernon NJ which is right on the border). They are SOOO good and everyone keeps telling me how much they are enjoying them (they are huge too!). We saw the owner at a bridal show and she even makes little bride/groom ones too :)

If you're willing to change to candy apples (they may do caramel, but I didn't ask so I'm not sure), I had candy apples from Soon's Orchard and they were amazing. They did all of the prep work, including wrapping, and I dropped off personalized ribbon that they tied around each one. We picked them up the day before the wedding and they were perfect. I think they were around $2 a piece. Soon's is in New Hampton, in between Goshen and Middletown. Slate Hill Orchard's might do them as well.
