Venue Help

Anyone get married at Gibbett Hill Grille? Did you like it?

Other suggestions for places to get married in the central massachusetts area with about 200 guests?

I loved it there too, but too small for us as well.  I love the photo ops and the deck!

You could try Harrington Farm in Princeton, Zukas in Spencer, Wachusett Inn in Westminter, Wachusett Mountain in Princeton, The International in Bolton, Nashoba Winery in Bolton, Colonial Hotel in Gardner, Tower Hill Botanical Garden in West Boylston, and those are just a fewwwww of the places that we looked at! Gibbet Hill also, and it was beautiful but yes it seemed a little small in the place and at 100 dollars a person it was over budget for us!

We are getting married at Harrington Farm in Princeton. If you have any questions I can hopefully help. Also, I live in Groton, Ma and go to Gibbet a lot for dinner, it's a beautiful location, food is really good, but I think it is more expensive  (than Harrington) otherwise we would have looked at it too.

Tower Hill is gorgeous too. The Orangerie is so nice, all glass and the flowers are so pretty!! I love it there, very peaceful!! I think that is a place you'd have to hire outside caterers but really that was one of my top choices!!!

We are having our rehearsal at Nashoba Winery but don't know too much about it besides it's cute and they have good wine. FI's mom is taking care of those details.

I'd recommend staying away from the International in Bolton. I just got married there this spring. The ballroom is pretty, but their staff is a mess. No bride should have to deal with the things they put my finance and I through leading up to the wedding. Especially considering it's one of the pricier options in the area.

I would however recommend Gibbet Hill in Groton and Butternut Farm in Stow. Both are beautiful!! I wish we had booked Butternut instead. We also liked Cyprian Keyes in Shrewbury.

Harrington Farm is awesome. One of my close friends got married there. It was so beautiful and they did a really great job with everything.
