Save the Date and Bridal Party Selection

When do you send out the "save the dates" cards. and when is a good time to tell your bridesmaids and etc that you want to have them in your wedding. my wedding date is april 13, 2013

Save the date cards are typically sent out 6-9 months before the wedding. It's about the same for asking the bridal party as well.

ok thanks! i wanted to tell my gals as soon as possible just in case they need to "get there selves together"

I am waiting to ask my girls until a year out. Save the dates will go out in October/November for my June wedding
