Hello ladies,

I am planning a June 2013 wedding, my FI and I want to plan things out slowly and enjoy our engagement and be able to afford the wedding. I am searching for a great dj that can do international music. Our families are hispanic and we would like a mix of american and hispanic music on our day. I would also need the DJ to do the ceremony music. Does anyone have any suggestions? any help will be greatly appreciated! Thank you all in advance Laughing

    I don't know about any DJs that specifically do international music but do not use Arpeggio.  That's the only vendor of my wedding I would like to redo.

    Sadie, What about Arpeggio did you not like?

    they were reccommended to me by another vendor, but i haven't contacted them or anything.

    My husband was ready to tell them to pack up and leave when the track for our first song cut off in the middle and we had to start it again.  It could happen to any DJ I suppose, but that moment was really important to him and it was ruined.
    We initially met with a rep who was awesome and got us really excited about the company, but whenever I tried to get in touch with the DJ himself, he wasn't available.  The rep, BTW, left the company before our wedding and no one told us our contact person had changed.  The DJ was dressed professionally, but he was a lousy MC.  He called me a couple of days beforehand to get the list of names of our guests who won the centerpieces (we did it by who RSVP'd first at each table) and he didn't print the list out.  I had to take time away from my reception to write it down again, phonetically because our families have very Italian last names and that really set me off, too.  He pronounced everything wrong, even though I was standing next to him as he announced people.
    Also, he waited until the night before the wedding to tell me that he didn't have the recording my Dad requested for our first dance, Dad had to pick another.
    OH, and he and the woman he brought with him to assist had their pictures taken in our photo booth.  Who was taking care of the music?  I dunno, the ghost.

    All in all, lots of little things added up to a big pile of "I wish I would've hired someone else."

    Thank you ladies for your help. I checked the music machine guys website, I dont think he provides an international music selection. I am looking more for latin, top 40, reggae, hip hop, classics. Sounds like a club night but I want it to be a party Smile.

    I know for a fact Jason @ music machine does provide that service of all types of music. I say give him a call and find out. good luck

    I highly recommend DJ Jason Mello.  He's DJ'd a few parties I have been to and I knew I wanted him to DJ my wedding.  He's doing my wedding shower as well      (  which is tomorrow!  :-D  ) He is very easy to work with and wants to make sure your day is exactly how you want it. He has a lot of different types of music. His prices are very good and much more reasonable then a lot of DJ's out there. Check out his website http://jasonmellodj.com/
