I know that may not seem wedding-related at first glance, but in one of the other boards there was a cake flavor discussion going on. (maple bacon?? rilly?)
But it got me thinking how much I would love to have an old New England spice cake for my cupcakes as one of the flavors. My brother and I both love that--and I don't think I've had one in at least a decade.
So I went looking and found this retro recipes site, with New England spice cake!
