where ever you bought your dress; try on veils as well to find the correct length you want. If you feel confident in a website you found, absolutely go for it. I also know that you can buy them on kjiji and ebay.
I am kicking myself that I bought my veil at David's. The same veil would have cost me about 75% less online. You can get a gorgeous veil for under $40 online.
Depends what you want. I wanted a beadwork/embroidery pattern on an elbow length veil and found that online it was hard to find what I was looking for, and really hard to see the beading in the photos, so I ended up having to go in-store. It was worth shopping around though, after finding a style I liked in one store I found the same style at less than half the price at another bridal shop.
Definitely online. Here are always big stock of different styles and colors and the price is also workable. Buying a dress in a deparment store has the disadvantage in limited choices and high price. I never do that. I bought mine in the online store trustedeal.com at US$14.99, big budget for me!
Re: Veil Shopping
Defitiely online unless you're wanting some designer veil that you can only buy in store.
