So, my life has been so crazy for the last month, and I'm so happy to feel like things are normal again. Whooohoooo!!!!!! I've gotten a few things done over the craziness of life. So here it goes.
1) I did go pick up my dress, finally. And it fit!!!!! I seriously thought that it wouldn't zip up, but it did. I almost cried. My mom didn't come, but one of my best friends dropped everything and came with me. I'm so happy she did, otherwise it could have been a bitter sweet moment. Here's a pic for all of you ladies.
2) I knew I wanted to get some awesome earrings for all of the girls, but I couldn't find anything just "right". Well Mike and I went to visit my Grandmother last month up in San Francisco, and I found this amazing set that I loved. It was a ring and necklace only. Bummer, no earrings. Well, I loved it so much I still got the set for me. I've taken the necklace to our family jeweler, and he's making matching earrings for me, and all the girls. I'm so excited!!!!!! They are the perfect color, it's called a London Blue Topaz. Here's a picture of the ring so you can see what they'll look like. Exactly the same, just smaller.
3) We've secured a fun 3-day excursion for guests before the wedding events start. It will be awesome fun heading down to Hobbiton (where Lord of the Rings was filmed and the new Hobbit movie) and to Rotorua. So exciting.
4) And we've officially started on working on the invitation suite. We're hoping to have those mailed out in the next 3-4wks. So excited!!!
5) Collected all emails so we can send the travel letter out to everyone from our travel agent. We are so excited that everyone is ready to book their plane tickets. I actually think we may have more people there than we thought. That would be awesome!!!!!
6) Working on the first itinerary of our Honeymoon w/ our travel agent. It's very exciting. We are so looking forward to that!!!!!
I think that's everything for now. I'm sure I didn't miss anything. I missed all of you ladies and it feels great to be back. Whoohooooo!!!!!!
