  Check out the House of Broel on St Charles. Her prices are unbeatable and I know several people who have had great experienced there. I am having my wedding there in April.

  Try the Elms Mansion on St. Charles Avenue.  I've been to wedding receptions there before and it's very nice plus they have a gazebo outside where you could have the ceremony.

  I'm getting married at the Elms in May if you have any questions about that venue...it's really pretty.  We looked at Magnolia Mansion also, and the planner there seems great...but Elms won us over with the gazebo.

  Just thought of another one - the New Orleans Opera Guild home.  It's a big house in the Garden District and looks really pretty although I've never seen the inside.
