Personalized cake toppers

I have seen a cake topper on Maharani weddings (I have the photo here) where the Bride and Groom are turned into a cake topper. We are trying not to splurge on almost anything for this wedding and I really want to be the economical bride...but I can't resist at least indulging my mind and figuring out how much this costs! Do any of you know where this came from or how to find one of these? Have you ever used a website that has them? I LOVE it. If it's too pricey, we're going with a monogram cake topper. It's not that important to us, but, I think it'd be a nice little touch and something we'd hold onto after the wedding on our mantle or on a shelf in our bedroom or something.

    I don't know where they got it made, but I do know there is a website that does custom make it, but it is defintely more pricier than just a regular cake topper or the monogram topper.

    Yeah. Do lots of people even do a cake topper? Or is it okay to go without one?

    I have seen Monogram being used a lot lately and not your traditional cake  topper of bride and groom.  I have seen some designed with flowers and they put a monogram on the cake table.  So its def. okay to go without one if you have something else in mind.

    I have seen those personalized toppers and I love them, too. But they are seriously, seriously expensive. Like several hundred dollars from some places.

    If you really, really want it, you could always try to find someone on etsy.com to make if for you. Or there are always nice, monogram options on etsy.com, too! I

    What about one of these? Is anyone doing one made out of glass?

    Yeah, I love those personalized mini-us cake toppers, but if we are trying to save money, I'd rather not have them and have something more standard. We could use that money towards decor.

    They are really cute!!! Although, they look heavy to be actually on top of the cake, it would look great on the cake table.

    I got wedding cake monograms, my sis actually wanted to buy them as a gift for my shower, it has our intials they are made out of shiny stones.
     I think you should have something for the cake topping in my opinion but dont need to go all out with a restricted budget..since it wont be the center of attention at your wedding

    FI and I really liked the people toppers...the ones in our liking...but I dont like how it looks close up...they are cute but a bit pudgy lol I didn't want to spend too much on something that would make me look fat lol :P

    We just went out initial...we bought it from ebay :)
