Invitation wording for receptions?....got married while away on vacation.

R and I are both over 50, and both never been married. We have been living together for over 4 years and were planning to get married in Oct (2011). Oh well.....we went away for a couple days last month and while visiting some cousins; ended up getting married (long story, but things just fell into place and it was right for the 2 of us!). Since none of our immediate families were there, we are planning to have another small ceremony & reception for our families & friends in October. My mother also wants to make a reception for us in the city where I grew up; where many friends & family are still. Since we are already married; wondering where I can find some appropriate wording for invitations & or save-the-dates. Any feedback would be appreciated.
While I'm asking....any ideas for locations in South Florida (Palm Beach County) to have a small (50-60 person) Sat. night wedding/reception that is cozy, low key, but still with class; that isn't going to be a fortune.

There are a lot of questions in this one post. First, you should send wedding announcements. Second, will your "small ceremony" be a vow renewal or a blessing of a civil marriage? Third, Crane's Wedding Blue Book is an excellent source for wording for invitations and save-the-dates. This is their suggested wording for a late reception: Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Jay Forrester request the pleasure of your company at a dinner reception in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Jude Strickland Saturday, the twentieth of September at seven o'clock Sleepy Hollow Country Club Scarborough, New York In the sample, each line is centered.

</div><div>You can ask them to come to a celebration of your marriage but having a "wedding" ceremony would be ridiculous since you are already married.  Also you shouldn't register for gifts and I don't think you can call it a "reception" with a straight face since you are not really "receiving" your guests from your wedding ceremony since none of them were there.</div><div>
    </div><div>Good luck.
