  I'm also a Riverview bride! What time of year are you getting married? I have seen other brides do their first look on the Bridge of Flowers-- it is right off Iron Horse Blvd., about 5 min from The Riverview and very beautiful if you are there when all of the flowers are out and blooming

  We are heading to hartford city hall for pics before hand (also a 6pm start) and hope to hit the bridge of flowers, if time/weather allows

  I am also a Riverview bride!! We're getting married in December, so this it's been tough trying to think of cute places to go for pics.  I've seen pictures from the city hall (and they're beautiful!).  Another suggestion is State House in Hartford....also really awesome pics!

  
  Both of those locations are a bit of a hike for me, so was wondering if anyone else had suggestions for winter pics around Simsbury?

  I'm also a Riverview Bride...next month!
  There is a wedding right before ours, but I didn't even consider doing our First Look pics there because I think there are better options.
  We are going to City Hall in Hartford first, and then the Old Drake Bridge (which someone mentioned above) - right down the street from Simsbury. I like having indoor and outdoor options.
