  I say get the pictures from him and RUNNN.... I always say better safe than sorry. Follow up with a letter 9not just an e-mail) and a phone call. Sometimes vendors go on vacation and forget to let clients know. if it is mroe than a week from when you first contacted him I would begin seriously looking for a new photog.

  I agree as above and would get your pictures then pick a different photographer for your wedding. There really is no good excuse on why it should take 6 months to get your photos. Did he ever give you a response on why you didn't have the photos from your first engagement photography session when you were taking your second? It just seems very odd. I would be scared to have a photographer who does not give me the pictures from my wedding day in a timely manner. My photographer gives a sneak peak of photos after 1 week and then all of them within 2 months.

  I'm using Images by Augie and my photographer is Patrick. He does beautiful work and their prices are reasonable. www.imagesbyaugie.com

  Oh, I'm sorry to hear that.  That does NOT at all seem like normal practice.  I just had our E-shoot with our photog 2 weeks ago and we already have the CD.  She is amazing!  Her name is Stephanie Smith - www.stephanieasmithblog.com

  Ouch, 6 month for pictures? Goodness, that's way too long. I can't imagine how long it will take for your weddings pictures. I probably would consider getting another photographer for your weddings. We had our epictures done and got them within 1 week. You still can find good photographer within 6 month, i'm sure!
  We're using In True colors, www.intruecolors.com if you consider another photographer. Also, i would be suspicious about him not giving you your 1st session photos. Hope you get it all soon!!
