  I do microderm at home (which is great) but I just did salon microdermabrasion 2 weeks ago (during Fall Spa Week) and I saw great results from it.  I was red and splotchy that day and maybe a little bit the next (without makeup).
  
  I will say though that I see the same results from a glycolic peel and those are half the price.
