Quality hand fans - in either silk or wood

I'm trying this again and hopefully posting in the Boston area. I tried last night and I guess it landed in the International area.

Hi everyone,
I'm highly allergic to flowers and I'm not sure I want to do silk hand held arrangements for me and my bridesmaids. I was thinking instead of getting really pretty silk (handpainted?) fans. My wedding has an English Garden type theme and I think this would fit in. I am not looking for the paper wedding favor type .... I'm looking for something much nicer that my girls can keep as a keepsake.

Any ideas on where in Massachusetts or Rhode Island I could even find these? I see some on line and they can be pricey which I don't mind since I'd spend a good amount on flowers anyway but I'd like to be able to see them in person before buying.

Any ideas on where to buy quality silk or wooden hand fans???

    My bridesmaid carried fans as well as floral corsages. I also carried a fan and a bridal bouquet. It was to honor our Chinese Cambodian heritage and because the fans were also less expensive than the floral bouquets. My MOH is allergic to most blooms but the roses we choose had a very subtle scent that was non-offensive.

    I purchased our fans on Luna Bazaar for $6 each. They are made of Saa paper but they also have silk, sandal wood and cotton fans available. I don't have my pro pixs yet but here are a few pics of the girls with their fans. My fan (not shown) was white with gold instead of fuchsia and gold. The design was more of Bohemian/India inspired. I know Good Orient and Asian Import store also have a nice selection of fans - some with feathers and different design patterns that might match your English Garden theme.
