Mom arrested for taking 5 year old tanning

CN:  Mother is accused of taking her 5 year old to tanning bed.  She had some sunburn but the mom claims it was just from being outside in the sun.  

What is wrong with people? She looks scary.

    Yeah, seriously. She looks like a dead tree. Mental issues, needs to be kept away from her kid!

    She is really freaky looking. I'm not sure I believe that her daughter went "tanning", I think it was more likely just a sunburnsince she is so fair skinned. But yeah, that mom has issues anyways.

    As far as I know, any tanning lamp is dangerous.  Any lamp that will actually tan you gives off the same effect as the sun does.  <div>

    tanning bed manufacturers say that a tanning bed is safer because it gives off UVA rays rather than UVB.  Apparently, UVB burns your skin and UVA just changes the pigment of your skin. Either way, it's not great for you!
