Wedding Day Hair

I know that there has been some discussion about hair and make-up on here recently, I have a few additional questions if you gals don't mind sharing!

How much are you paying for your hair style? Are you paying for your entire bridal party? and then lastly who is doing your hair. 

I did some googling last night and found some prices to be really high in my opinion-$150 for just the bride...

    I'm paying $55 for my updo and that seemed to be the going rate.  I haven't decided if I'm paying for my bridal party yet since we all aren't getting our hair done at the same place.  I'm going to Par Exsalonce in OP.

    I think mind is either 45 or 55.  I'm just having a stylist i've known for awhile do it.

    Pretty sure mine is $55 which seems to be the average I found. I'm paying for my BM's and their hair costs $50. We're going to Naturally Salon in Crown Center. I wanted to go to an Aveda salon since I've always had great experiences there.

    I had a hard time finding someone for a Sunday and was going to go with Par Exsalonce at first but they open at 11am and we needed to be done by then. Naturally was willing to come in early before they normally open to get us all done. I have my hair trial next Saturday and I'm very excited about it! :)

    ETA: While I am paying for their hair, I wanted it done so I felt I should pay for it but they choose how they want to wear it. It's also not considered their gift.

    I can't help you with the cost- my long time hairdresser did it for free as a wedding gift, but I've heard $50-60 from a lot of girls for the bride.

    As far as your WP, you don't have to pay for their hair unless you require they get it done.  I told my girls when the appointment would be and asked if they wanted to have it done.  They both decided to do it, and they paid for it.  However, if I told them I wanted it done a certain way or whatever, I would have paid (and not made it part of their BM gift).

    I think mine is going to be $130 but that includes hair and makeup plus the trials.

    Mine will probably be around $60 for hair and makeup. I'm not paying for my BM's because I'm not requiring anything of them. I asked them to show up at the church with hair and makeup done. The two BMs from out of town you are staying with me at my parents' were given the invite of getting their hair done at my salon on their own dime since they don't know anyone else in the area. One said yes to that and one said no.

    Like the other girls, mine was around $55, bridesmaids were a little less.  We went to Belle Epoque downtown (Darcy did mine).  Super cute and very friendly salon.  They even let us bring in our own mimosas!  I did not pay for my bm's either.

    I am having the guy who has done my hair since elementary school do mine. Zuri hair studio is Independence, Mo. My girls are all having diff stylists but it will be $45 for hair and $35 for makeup and he serves wine while we get it all done. They are paying for theirs because im not requiring them to get it done, but they all want to. They use really good makeup as well. My trial is free for both!

    well i cant afford  like everyone else i am on a very  very tight budget, most my money goes to buying meds for my om, but i am having a friends daughter do my hair and make up but i am gonna go get my nails done and for my bridal party i will pay for my step daughters , but everyone else will have to pay for there own, my gifts to them will be simple also. u dont have to go pay alot of money on things  to have a very pretty wedding.
