The Grand Hall at the Priory

So I will be having my wedding reception at the Grand Hall at the Priory on Pittsburgh's Northside. I LOVE the venue. I am wondering if anyone has had their recpetion there/is having their recpetion there/has been to a recpetion there. They seem wonderful but I would just like any advice on dealing with them. I am getting married in January so I will be getting one of their winter wedding packages and they take care of everything from the cake to the linens to the food/alcohol, etc. If they are great to work with, then this is awesome .. if they are difficult it will be terrible since I will have lots to work with them on!!!!

    I've been to an event there before (not a wedding) and everything was lovely.  I love the Priory's baked goods.  One thing I noticed, though - it's very dark in there.  Make sure your photographer's equipped to handle it.

    I am a Winter Wedding Bride there as well! Our wedding is February 9, 2013. I have had nothign but great experiences so far with them. They seem to know their stuff and do a great job.

    What I also like is that whenever some asks where we are getting married and I tell them everyone so far has given me the same happy face. Then they proceed to tell me they went to a wedding there, know someone that god married there, etc. They are all telling me how great and beautiful the venue is.

    I can't wait to hear about more of your planning! Are you going to the Open House in October?

    I just had my wedding at the Grand Hall a few weeks ago. They are absolutely wonderful!!! It was a breeze to plan and the day was perfect! We were even able to make some last minute changes and those went off without a hitch.  

    You weddings will be beautiful there! Good Luck!
