3 month old...please help

I am getting married next July & just had a baby 3 months ago. With my first I was smaller then my pre pregnancy weight after a week! This time Im not so lucky. I feel bigger! Im not but I cant fit in anything and Im still wearing maternity clothes. I am down 29 pounds but have 20 left to go. I am so depressed over this. I am nursing and eat fairly good. I may have a snack now and then. I dont work out but never did after my other pregnancy either. I tried Jillians 30 DS today and wanted to cry. The jumping jacks and jump roping isnt working for my DD boobs with milk in them. lol. Please help! Anyone know of a good cardio workout DVD or anything???

  • "Fairly good" isn't always good.  I suggest using a free site like Spark People to track all of your food intake for a week.   You might be surprised at what the results show.

30DS is rough, but well worth it as i feel I definitely got stronger using it.  You need a better bra (or two!) if you're having problems.  Don't blame the boobs, the problem is the support you give them.
  • I recommend getting a better bra.  Any sort of cardio is going to be hard on the girls without one.

    I recommend this one:

I go between DDD and DD and even when I was running long distances or doing kickboxing, the girls didn't move in this.

They are a bit pricey, but worth it for the comfort.

  • I have D's and I finally had to break down and buy a kick ass sports bra. There's still a little 'movement' but not the painful kind. My youngest will be 7 months old tmrw, and while I have lost the actual pregnancy weight, my body is nothing like it was before. Sometimes your body just changes with childbirth and it has nothing to do with weight.

Invest in a good bra, and stick with the exercise program. You also have to remember that it took 9 months for you to gain that weight, you can't expect your body to just bounce back right away. I only kept on less than 10 pounds after having my first and was able to wear almost all of my old clothes without any exercise, but now after #3 I really have to work at it and be much more diligent about watching what I eat. GL!
