DRESS SHOPPING....

So after my 1st experience at David's Bridal...YES I was a bit hesitant on going at it again!

I'm so excited I just wanted to share my update on this weekend dress shopping... I know Genie and another knottie said to let them know how  it went since they had not found a dress either.

PEBBLES- AWESOME!!!They had PLENTY of dresses and in PLUS SIZE! Can't complain..the only thing if you go and your bra size is on the larger size like 40 +++ they don't have any strapless bras. So take your own! Also I got there like 5min before they opened and I was there 1 and half all by myself had the sales lady and the others just focus on me. I tried on like 7 dresses and never felt rushed. So if you go... GO EARLY! I found 2 potential dresses which I dearly love and got a huge smile on my face when I tired them onLaughing

Though u can't take any pics Frown ....I managed to get the designer and came home to look for them online hehehe.

This was the very 1st dress I tried on and I was like in my head OMG I think this the one!

And the very last dress I tried on...which was like...oh god can I have 2 dresses...please! hehehe!

I'm so torn! I really loved them both!

As for the 2nd shop LILI's...alright I don't want to offend anyone...but really there is no other way to state this...THIS SHOP IS NOT PLUS SIZE FRIENDLY!!!!  I was there 30 min...out of the 30min maybe 15min were actually trying or waiting to see they had any dresses in plus size. They only carry size 10...all cross the store. So street size was like 6 or 8 maybe. She managed to find one dress in size 20...which wasn't really what I was looking for.  They were really busy and they lady seem like she was pushing "that" dress on me since that was the only one that really went down on me. With the other dresses I liked she said just put them in front of you and then you can get an idea if you like then we can order it in your size.Undecided Now to me that sounded like time to go. Everyone was nice but I honestly felt they only catered to small sizes...it was really disappointing!

Just wanted to share! Excited about the 2 dresses I found...I have two more shops to go and it's time to get serious about ordering a dress soon!Laughing

Yeah! I'm so glad you liked Pebbles, they are so awesome. I like both dresses but I like the second one a bit better. I went there really early like you did too and I was there alone for a good hour, that's the best way to do it.

The two dresses are gorgeuos. I think you said you're having an outdoor ceremony. If you are I'd go with the first and the second if its inside because it looks expensive and romantic. But either or they are great.

They are both so pretty!  I'm so glad that you had a great experience at Pebbles - I left right after the salesgirl told me I was too fat for the dress I wanted.

I am glad you found two dresses you love already!  Depending on who you get at Lili's they will pressure you to buy--I had a similar experience at Lili's also. They only had one dress in the style I was going for, she pushed until I asked her point blank "I am looking for type X type of dresses, but you have only one and everything else is Y.  Do you have any recommendations where I can find more of them?"  Don't be afraid to ask your bridal consultants where you can find what will fit you or what you will like if they do not carry it in store.  Even though LA is a big city, bridal shops aren't that many and many of them know each other.

Oh both dresses are so pretty.  I like the 1st one a bit more but I would get the one that flatters your figure the most!
