This thing was my magnum opus. Whew!
I always wanted to intersperse pics of FI and I with quotes, poems, book excerpts, etc. that reflected us, but it took forever to find a photobook company that did text well. I started my book with 3 different companies before finally finding Blurb, which worked great.
Then it took forever to get FI to look at it and give me quotes he likes. Then I decided I wanted to add a few pages of pictures of us as kids, which led to a late-night hunt for old photo albums, scanning the pics, searching for more quotes about childhood and families, yadda yadda. Then even more re-designing to make sure FI and I both liked the final product.
But, now we absolutely LOVE it, and I just hope that it looks as great in print as I think it will.
