Bra Shopping

Do you ladies have any suggestions as to where to go to get a plus sized longline strapless bra?  I got my dress at David's Bridal and the bra they gave me, fit well enough to try on dresses, but not to wear for the wedding.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi and Welcome!  I have not seen you post on here before; it's good to have ya!

    Bare Essentials on 202 in North Wilmington.  They specialize in lingere, and they carry up to H size bras (I think).  They also are known for their wedding selection, and it's where older ladies (like when my mom got married) went before salons started offering undergarments. 

    I am also plus size, and had to get underwear for a dress for a wedding.  The dress itself looked nice but was oddly shaped, and I took it in with me to have them help me.  They were WONDERFUL!  I felt so comfortable with the sales lady, and she really worked with me to find the best fit (both under the clothes and on my body).  Since they specialize in Lingerie, and carry the larger sizes, they know what they are doing.  They also carry larger size nighties for the HM, bathing suits, and other plus size unmentionables.  Best part is, I had heard that they were on the pricey side.  They really aren't!  You are going to pay around the same amount there as you will at VS.  I highly recommend checking them out; they don't have a website because they want that customer relations part, which in today's web-centered world, is a refreshing change in my mind.

    Also, if you are willing to make the drive to KOP, they have a Frederick's of Hollywood up there.  They are also in the same price range.  They carry more 'fancy' stuff, like for the HM, but they might be able to help you out.  They are known for their plus size selection, and are considered the "original Victoria's Secret".

    Thanks!!  I will definitely try Bare Essentials.  I knew someone would know.  I definitely didn't want to go the route of the internet.
