Where to start....

So, we are doing the Wine Box and Love Letter ceremony.  I've had the wone box for a while, and now I need to start thinking about writing my letter to put in there.  We are going to open the box, drink the wine and read our letters on our 5 year anniversary.  Ummm I have never written a love letter in my life!  I'm not an overly sentimental person, and I really am starting to wonder if I'm going to be able to pull this off haha!!!  Any advice?? Maybe some of you that are writing your own vows can help me out!

    I write a lot professionally and find that sometimes it just helps to start writing... don't worry about structure or what it sounds like, just start writing down your feelings and then you can organize it from there. I think the most important thing is to do it from your heart, so if it works better for you to be funny and then romantic, or to bring in memories... go for it!! Whatever you write, I'm sure you'll love reading it on your five-year anniversary.

    I agree with Lora, go with it from the heart, and whatever comes out you can 'pretty up' later :) Just get the raw feelings out right now!

    This wine box is right up my ally. Do you have details about it? I always write FI a love letter on our anniversary and vday. I usually just write from my hear saying how wonderful my life has been with him and how he makes me feel and what I picture our life like in the future. I'm sure once you start writing you won't stop!

    You could start with writing bullet points, then just turn them into sentences!
