Date change

I talked to FI this morning and we both agreed to change the date to 10/6/12 so just one week earlier. We wanted to make the change because our niece died from SIDS at just 11 wks old on 10/12/06 and we would rather it be a happy day instead of a sad day. So that puts me right under the 1 yr mark. :D Scary and exciting at the same time!

    Aw, girl I am so sorry for all these horrible events going on in your life, a wonderful wedding will very much so help you feel better and place more positive vibes in your life. 
    I've changed my date many times. I say I want to find THE place first, then pick when it is available around the time of year I want and then whatever day I pick will be meaningful to me because it will be my day. We had it for 9-10-11, 11-11-11, and now is set for April 14 or may 5. Has anyone else changed their date a few times? I hope we're not alone. ;)

    Haha yes i've changed my date three times! My original date was November 5, 2011 but I have an annual conference in boston to attend for work so with all the craziness of preparing for that I didn't want to be completely stressed on my wedding day. Then it was April 7, 2012...but a "friend" also picked that day and then threw a fit, so I decided to be the bigger person and now it's May 12, 2012 and that's what we are sticking with!

    This DEFINITELY isn't the first time we have changed our date lol. We post-poned our wedding a whole year one time.

    We decided to change our date today from april/may to october 20, 2012. No matter what day it falls on it will be your day, but sorry to hear that. I hope everything goes wonderful, every day I get more excited to have our wedding. Such a great day with family and friends and it should be positive, I'm sure everyone will understand.
