Hello!
Some of you may remember me, a lot of you don't. My Knot experience has been over two years in the making I think! I posted a few months ago after my first hiatus and said I was back. Well, that was short lived and I got overwhelmed with ideas again so I put it on the backburner consider I didn't have a proper ring, proposal, date, asking of my father, no budget to work with.
But here I am again! The ring is purchased (I know, I know... I shouldn't know these things but after 7 years he knows I keep the important paperwork and it doesn't matter much to me anyways.. at least I know it's on it's way) but waiting for the moment to go on the finger. I am finally super exicted about it.
He has picked July 30th for a date (the two things he requested he get to decide on are his attire and the date). Getting married in the middle of the summer is something I would never choose to do, but it is important to him so I think I can compromise on that.
Plus, it's the only time it's *mostly* safe to have an outdoor wedding in WA. So now I have 8 months to plan, find a dress, do all of the DIY crap (i'm not huge on arts and crafts but I think it might be fun), and lose a couple of dress sizes. It's going to be a wild ride.
Anyways- I better go now that I have written a novel. Glad to be back, and glad to see a few of you are still around. Thanks in advance for the help I'm sure you guys will be giving me. I'm going to need it!
