Local Newlyweds?

So, I feel really lame writing this post. But I was wondering if anyone could let me know if there is a way to search for local newlywed couples on here? I haven’t lived in the area that long and I am trying to find some younger couples close by and make some friends. Let me know if you have any ideas? Thanks everyone!

    You can try the DC board over on the nest.  I haven't really posted over there, but the group over there seems nice enough.

    also Ive been told that meetup is a great place to make new friends in the area... my brother moved and he used it to meet people with similar interests.

    You could look for reviews on venues/catererers/photographers etc that you're interested in that have been posted recently and contact some of these couples ... ?
