Were to look for Brides maid dresses???

I have looked at Davids Bridal and was not impressed....where did you find your bridesmaids dresses?  I want them to be under 200.

You could start at Catan's in Strongsville b/c they have a HUGE variety. Then you can check out smaller boutiques. Usually the place you buy your wedding gown will have a package deal where you get a discount on your bridesmaid's dresses.

I don't know what color you're looking for, but this is what helped me:

I had a very specific color in mind - peacock teal. It helped me to first look at swatch books for different designers to see who had the shade that I wanted. It really helped narrow down the designers that I could have my MOH try on and my choices in general.

    Hope that helps!

Ditto the others. Catan is a great place to start. I found my girls' dresses at David's, but we did separates. I chose the color and skirt style; they picked the top they liked. Worked for us and was under $140 (not including alterations, which we had done elsewhere).

Mine came from Galleria Gowns in Willoughby Hills.  They were really awesome to work with since just about everyone was out of town.

I went with J. Crew. They are $215 I believe. I have Bridesmaids from CA, AZ, NC, and MD, and I am in OH. I needed somewhere where they could be done in all the same dye lot, and they only take 3-5 days for shipping and if it doesnt fit you can get credit immediately at the store. They have a lot of cute dresses!!!

I'm using Coming Attractions in the Chapel Hill/ Akron Area. It may be a little far out there depending where you are. I didn't get my wedding dress from them but they are going to give the bridesmaids all a 15% discount on their dresses. They're very nice and flexible there.
