Loft type venue

I am looking for a loft type venue around the ann arbor or metro detroit area -- not to attached to any particular city. Looking for a space that is  reasonably priced and could hold 80 people.  I would ideally like it if there would be room for a dance area and alcohol allowed on the premise. If anyone could help me with suggestion I would really appreciate it. When I look through the knots local venues the places they suggest dont really seem like loft spaces.

    There's a space in downtown Detroit called Loft 451 or something like that. I think it rents out for private parties/club events and I've seen it mentioned in wedding-related blogs, etc., but don't know what its current status is.

    Thanks I will look into it. I really just want something that is different. I know people love golf courses and hotels but it just isnt us.

    Sure, why not! That probably is the name, it's been awhile since I looked into it.

    There are also several brides on here getting married at the T-Plex, also in Detroit. It's an old auto plant, so I don't know if I'd call it "lofty", but definitely unique. I wish I'd known about it when I was booking venues!
