Where to buy handheld raffia fans?

I am looking for somewhere to buy these fans. I want them to be inexpensive, but fairly good quality.

Did anyone use them at their wedding? Did you glue anything on them?

Any suggestions would be awesome :)

Thanks!

Also, any suggestions on weddings favors? I want favors that won't just be thrown away and possibly beach or hawaii themed?

I always vote for food for favours: Honolulu cookie company cookies or Big Island Candy brownies (the coconut, chocolate dipped ones are INSANE).

Both the Knot and wedding channel stores sell them as does this place:

and shore chic sells them already decorated or with wedding programs attached

We bought ribbon and rented fans from our coordinator who tied our ribbon on her fans.

These sound freakin delicious, do you know if I have to pre-order them or do they sell them at grocery stores on the islands? I could eat brownies daily i love them so much.

We got our fans from OTC and they were just fine.  I didn't notice any issues with them.  I thought I'd glue stuff on, but it turned out I just didn't care enough to devote time to it, and I'm not convinced anyone would have noticed/cared if I had.

As for favors, we did welcome bags in lieu of favors, and included Waialua Soda in them (which we got in cases at Costco).  Pics of our bag's ingredients in bio.

Thank you for posting this.  I have been looking to, although not too hard, but most of the sites have been sold out.

@Kaesha, This cookies are adorable and I would love to order them for our welcome bags and maybe favors for AHR.  Do you know if they sell them in Maui?

We did as Carrie did.  No favors at the wedding, but we did some cool welcome bags instead.  Each welcome bag had food, soda, booze, and souvenir mugs!  $1.50 mugs at Walmart :)

THIS! Got them really fast too and I love them.  I actually use my extra as like coaster things under my groups of candles to add to the Hawaiian theme in our bedroom.

    I went a little overboard....I did all 3!

We used palm fans for the ceremony and all of our guests loved/used them. It was so hot! I glued ribbon and favor tags on before we left for Hawaii. I ordered them from Koyal Wholesale and they were 12 for $8.99. If you go with them, make sure to order a few extra because the sizes vary a bit and I ended up not being able to use some of the smaller ones.

For our cookie favors, I called Honolulu cookie company to place a bulk order of the pineapple shaped shortbread cookies. I wanted chocolate dipped, but my WC said they would melt in the heat. It was about $40 for 100 cookies. I picked them up from the store in Lahaina when we arrived. We placed them in favor boxes that we ordered from Ailana Kai and tied them with ribbon, then glued favor tags to them. They were super cute.

We ordered OOT bags from Ailana Kai, and filled them with stuff we bought at Costco when we got to Maui.

We are doing all three, too. Hey, we only get married once! At least that's our plan! We are doing the palm fans that will have our wedding programs hooked to them. We are doing favors that will be seating at everyone's seat at Mama's Fish House and we are doing OOT bags that we will give everyone at the welcome BBQ.  We are also giving thank you gifts to all of our friends that have helped us in different ways with the wedding at the reception dinner.  You have to keep in mind that we only have 21 ppl, including us coming to the wedding so we are able to do a few extra things.

We are doing three also but not sure about what to do for the favors.

@MauiDandy, I need to show your last pic to FI as he is already so worried about all the stuff we are taking and our "Costco" run. :') He just keeps saying there won't be room for us. LOL
