  Also, I would still go in and try out some similar styles before I would lay down any money. You may love it in the magazine, but you may not love it on you.

  This coming from a girl who works at a bridal store that carries Maggie Sottero--the dresses that we have that are similar to this (see the Perri for example) run about $1,000. I'd say don't count on it being any less than that.

  My dress is Maggie Sottero (Colby) and was $1200. 

  
  

  I was searching for a particular Justin Alexander dress in the beginning and I called probably about 18 stores. Not once of them would give me a price- some refused to give anything at all, a few gave me $500-$2000 (thanks) I think it's to guard against price matching/searching.
